Terms of service

Last updated: October 25, 2026

1. Who we are, and what these terms cover

Ledgerloom is provided by saas.group LLC, operating as MyWorks Software ("MyWorks", "we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the Ledgerloom service and this website (together, the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of the firm or business you represent ("you"). If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The service

Ledgerloom connects accounting software your firm is authorized to access, such as QuickBooks Online, to AI apps your team uses, such as Claude and ChatGPT, so those apps can look up information when you ask. To use it, you need your own accounts with the accounting software and the AI apps. Their terms apply to your use of them, and these terms don't replace them.

Ledgerloom is in early access. Features may be added, changed or removed, and the service may sometimes be unavailable while we improve it. Where a change meaningfully reduces what the service does, we'll aim to give reasonable notice.

3. Your account and your team

You're responsible for the people you invite, the roles and client access you give them, and everything done through your account. Keep sign-in links and AI app connections secure, and remove access promptly when someone leaves your firm. You must be authorized to act for the firm that owns the account.

4. Authority to connect client data

By connecting a client's books, you confirm that:

5. Your data

Your firm's data and your clients' data stay yours. You give us only the limited rights needed to access, process and transmit that data to provide the service to you, and for nothing else. We never sell it and never use your clients' accounting data to train AI models. Our privacy policy, which is part of these terms, describes how we handle it.

6. AI answers and changes to the books

AI apps write their own answers from the data Ledgerloom provides, and they can be wrong. Ledgerloom doesn't control what an AI app says. Review answers before relying on them, and verify anything you use for accounting, tax, financial reporting or advice to a client. Nothing in the service is accounting, tax or legal advice.

If your firm turns on write access when it becomes available, changes are posted to the accounting software only after someone at your firm approves them, and that approval is your firm's decision. Accounting software generally has no undo. Where Ledgerloom offers a way to reverse a change it made, it may not work once the record has been reconciled, paid or included in a closed period.

7. Fees

Early access may be offered at no charge. If we introduce fees, we'll tell you in advance, and you'll only be charged if you choose a paid plan, under the pricing and billing terms shown when you do.

8. Usage limits

Accounting software providers limit how much data apps can read. To keep the service working for everyone, we may set limits on how much data your firm's requests read, and slow or pause requests that exceed them. Your firm can see its usage in the app.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or end access for use that breaks these terms or puts other firms, their clients or the service at risk.

10. Third-party services

Ledgerloom depends on accounting software and AI apps run by other companies. They're governed by their own terms, and we're not responsible for them, including their availability, their changes, or how AI providers handle data they receive at your request. If a provider limits or ends our access, parts of the service may stop working.

11. Intellectual property

The service, including its software and design, belongs to MyWorks and its licensors. These terms don't transfer any of it to you beyond the right to use the service. If you send us feedback, we can use it without obligation to you.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that information it provides or AI apps produce from it is accurate, complete or current.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyWorks will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising from or related to the service, even if advised of the possibility. To the same extent, our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of one hundred US dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

14. Indemnification

You'll defend and hold MyWorks harmless from third-party claims, including claims by your clients, arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, from data you connected without authorization, or from your reliance on AI answers.

15. Termination

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. What happens to your data then is described in the privacy policy. We may suspend or end the service as described in section 9. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 5, 6, 11, 12, 13 and 14) survive it.

16. Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the top, and for material changes we'll let account owners know before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Tarrant County, Texas.
